Basic TTO Activities
Module 1- Awareness, Promotion, Information and Training Services
This module aims to inform the business world about conducting R&D projects, developing projects in collaboration with universities, and technology and innovation. Activities that can be carried out within the framework of the module can be listed as introducing the competencies, resources and cooperation opportunities that universities have for the business world, organizing training organizations on new technologies, R&D systematics, etc. and organizing various information activities for university-industry cooperation.
Module 2- Services for Benefiting from Support Programs
The activities that can be carried out by TTO within the framework of this module can be defined as informing, projecting and administrative support processes, etc. for universities and the business world to benefit from various grant support programs. New information and technologies to be produced under the roof of the university within the scope of national and international research projects constitute one of the most important inputs for the licensing and commercialization activities that will create the primary added value of TTO.
Module 3- Project Development/Management Services (University-Industry Collaboration Activities)
The main axis of this module is the use of academic knowledge of universities in private sector R&D projects. Activities to be carried out by TTO within the framework of this module; Determining the needs of companies and project development using various communication tools, finding researchers to support the determined projects, creating contracts for cooperation, coordination services to be provided during the execution of the projects can be exemplified as follows. The outputs to be generated within the scope of this module also constitute important inputs for technology transfer.
Module 4- Management of Intellectual and Industrial Rights and Licensing Services
Determination of projects and studies that can be evaluated within the scope of intellectual property in universities, making decisions on confidentiality, know-how, registration, etc. within the framework of intellectual property management, registration procedures (utility model, patent, etc.), marketing and licensing of intellectual property and transfer of usage information to the user/customer will be carried out within the scope of this module.
Module 5- Incorporation and Entrepreneurship Services
The content of this module is to support entrepreneurial activities carried out by academics to bring new products and technologies to the economy. Within the framework of the module, TTOs will support academics with R&D ideas by providing consultancy, training, etc. services on issues such as project development of these ideas, marketing, law and administrative procedures.
